Learners can also a certificate from the only recognized educational institution from the UN, showing the skills they have earnt from the projects they have completed.
The Ukraine Project is a unique and exciting opportunity for our work to support Ukrainian children living through this horrific moment of violence, displacement, and uncertainty. In collaboration with local and global partners, we are building learning experiences that integrate social emotional learning (SEL) with academics to help children process trauma while developing critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Four challenge courses are being constructed around the United Nations Sustainable Goals, including components for planning, application, and reflection in a super fun virtual learning environment. Through play, learners will be able to process their current experiences, apply design thinking to a STEAM-related topic, and transfer their learning to future life events. All school aged children from Ukraine, whether displaced or in their home country, will have free access to learning experiences and to a community of peers through an app.
